Lidija Stanković



Lidija Stanković graduated from the School of Music "Dr. V. Vučković" and "J. Slavenski" in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Gordana Jovanović. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Dubravka Tomšič-Srebotnjak, and completed her master's studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Arbo Valdma.

During her schooling and studies, she won a large number of awards: twelve first prizes at the Republic and Federal competitions, prizes at international competitions in Senigallia and Stresa (Italy), and Zemon (Slovenia), two October Awards from the city of Belgrade (as a pupil and student), Pressern Award of the University of Ljubljana, the "Emil Hajek" Award and the award from the Olga Mihajlović Fund for the most talented student.

Since school age, her concert activity has been very rich. She performed with the Belgrade, Zagreb, and Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestras, the RTV Ljubljana Symphony Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Festival Orchestra, the RTV Brussels Orchestra, the Camerata Academica Orchestra from Novi Sad, the Dušan Skovran String Orchestra, St. George's String Orchestra and the Žebeljan Chamber Orchestra. . She held solo concerts in all major cities of the former Yugoslavia (Ljubljana, Maribor, Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Belgrade, Skopje...), and toured as a soloist and chamber musician in Italy, Belgium, Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland and Great Britain.

In addition to works of the classical pianistic repertoire, he pays great attention to works from the Serbian musical heritage.

As a chamber musician, she collaborated with our renowned artists, among whom we single out Vesna Stanković, Aleksandra Madžara and Aneta Ilić.

She was a member of the jury at numerous competitions, among which we highlight: the international competitions "Isidor Bajić", "Dr. Vojislav Vučković", "Davorin Jenko", "Chopin Fest", "EPTA", as well as at national competition of young pianists of Slovenia in 2012 and 2014.

For eight years in a row, she led a master workshop as part of the "PANOPTICUM MUSICUM" event in Novi Sad.

In her class, more than forty students graduated, eleven received a master's degree, six completed specialist studies, and three received a doctorate. The winners of more than sixty awards at domestic and international competitions. Many of them are successfully engaged in music as performers and lecturers at secondary and higher education institutions.

In December 2017, she was awarded a large plaque with the charter of the University of the Arts in recognition of her outstanding merits and contribution to the development of the Faculty of Music and the University of the Arts.
